The books in the Dunne series have been translated into twenty-seven languages, sold over 1,4 million copies world-wide and received numerous awards. The first book in the series, My Happy Life, was named one of The New York Times Most Notable Books in 2013 and was nominated for the Prix Sorcières 2014 as well as the Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis 2012.
